This girl is gorgeous. One wonders though, what kind of future does she have waiting for her? A poor girl, from a small village in northern Iraq. Before her future was certain, she'd always be that poor girl... but now, there's so much possibility. She could be killed tomorrow by a car bomb (though it's not likely in the area she lives) or she could live to see a democratic Iraq.

If she is lucky, and the US protects her, and doesn't sell her out to the Turks, she may live free in Kurdistan. The idea that anyone believes Kurdistan will be a part of a democratic Iraq is either dishonest, disingenuous, or deluded. Let's work from reality-based constructs, shall we?
